What We Work On

Welcome to the new TCF.org

January 11, 2013 COMMENTARY BY: Derek Newton TOPICS: Additional Focus

Welcome to the new TCF.org

The Century Foundation has been around since 1919 but we have a new logo, a new New York City office, some new faces and this – www.TCF.org – our new home on the Internet.

The look and feel of our website may have changed but our mission hasn’t. We’re still working, just like we were 94 years ago, to offer progressive ideas to tomorrow’s challenges in ways that bring us closer together.  Just like on the previous TCF.org, here you will find some of the best thinking in America on progressive economic policies and tax fairness, improving access and equality in education, thoughtful foreign policy, protecting social insurance programs such as Social Security and Medicare and more.

Some of our best work is featured in our frequently updated Blog of the Century. There you will be able to access the most recent work of our fellows as well as the popular Graph of the Day. The Blog also has updated and easier to use comment capability so be sure to let us know what you think.

The new TCF.org also makes sharing our work with others easier – you’ll find Facebook and Twitter tabs with every article. It’s also now easier to find information about our upcoming events and watch multi-media content.

Be our guest. Look around. Let us know what you think.

Thank you for visiting the new TCF.org and we look forward to continuing to share some of the best ideas in policy.

Derek Newton

Vice-President, Communications
